Tang Soo Do school Jip Kye Sohn takes 5 Dutch titles

 

Saturday April 9 The Open Dutch Championships of the WTSDA where held in Delfgauw.

The organisation was in the hands of the Nederlandse Tang Soo Do Associatie and Master Sjef Lamens.

Master Trogemann from Germany attended with 50 students to take part in these championships. By this the number of competitors came on 213.

 

Jip Kye Sohn from Sneek and Harlingen took part with 12 students who took 21 prices home under which 5 Dutch titles.

 

Gup competitors took part in 3 divisions: Hyungs, Moogi Sul and Dae Ryunn.

Hyungs (forms):

Dutch Champion: Bart van Roessel, Heeg

2nd price:

Marijke Dijkstra, Harlingen; Edwin Muurling, Sneek; Dorien ten Brink, Sneek; Lex van Roessel, Heeg;

3rd prices:

Maureen Hendriks, Sneek; Suzanne Marin, Sneek.

 

Bong Hyungs:

Dutch Champion: Jeroen Dijkstra, Harlingen and Edwin Muurling.

2nd price: Marijke Dijkstra.

 

Dae Ryun (free fight):

Dutch Champion: Marijke Dijkstra and Suzanne Marin

2nd price: Dorien Piersma, Sneek; Bart van Roessel.

3rd price: Jeroen Dijkstra, Peter Rudolpie, IJlst, Edwin Muurling; Lex van Roessel; Maureen Hendriks.

 

Marijke Dijkstra and Edwin Muurling are all rounders .

 

The black belt took part in 5 divisions: Hyungs, Bong Hyungs, Dan Gum Hyung,Dae Ryun and Kyuck Pa.

Head instructor ofJip Kye Sohn Bauke Dijkstra took a 3rd price on Dae Ryun and on Kyuck Pa
