By reason of a difference of opinion, in 2001, with the management of Holland Tang Soo Do (the former Dutch representing member with the WTSDA) the School holders had no other option than to leave the Dutch organisation and thereby leaving the WTSDA.
Because Holland Tang Soo Do has left the WTSDA in 2002 there was no Dutch representation of the WTSDA left in Holland.
The Tang Soo (Soo Bahk) Do Federatie Moo Duk Kwan Nederland, founded in 2000, where Jip Kye Sohn and Si Nan Ju are members since July 2001, has been asked by Grandmaster Jae Chul Shin to return to the World Tang Soo Do Association.
After solid consideration all School holders unanimously voted positive for returning to the World Tang Soo Do Association.
By this reason the Nederlandse Tang Soo Do Associatie is founded.
The board of the Netherlands Tang Soo Do Association consider it a great honour to be asked by Grandmaster Jae Chul Shin personally to return to the WTSDA.

Our thanks and appreciation goes to Grandmaster Kang Uk Lee and his Masters with the International Tang Soo (Soo Bahk) Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation in England for their hospitality of the last 4 years.
Our Tang Soo Do career goes on with the World Tang Soo Do Association.
This means training the old and familiar 30 hand-, kick- and self-defence techniques and again training with weapons.
But above of all we are glad to meet our old friends and renew friendships.
Particular we hope to meet our English friends John en Rachel Woodford and their kids again.
Of course we also hope to meet Grandmaster Jae Chul Shin again.
We hope to take part with Jip Kye Sohn in The European Championships to be held on September 24 2005 in Bristol, England.
It feels good to be home again...
