Results WC 2008.

Friday July 11 and Saturday July 12 the World Championships of the WTSDA were held in Orlando, Florida. There were about 1800 participants from 20 counties present.
There were 3 parts to contest in: Forms (Hyungs), Forms with weapons (Moogie Hyungs)and Sparing(Dae Ryun) and county demonstrations.

The Netherlands were represented by 17 participants of which 8 black belts. They took 15 medals home. Jip Kye Sohn was represented by 4 participants Bauke Dijkstra, 3e Dan, Marja Dijkstra, 3e Dan, Jeroen Dijkstra, 1e Dan en Marijke Dijkstra, 1e Dan. Of the Dutch black belts Marja Dijkstra was the only one to get to the podium: a 3rd place in sparring.
